Doug Hazen & Family

Doug and his family have been attending Grace since 1996 after moving to Portland. Doug is married to Ruth and they have four children; Kindra, Karissa, Alicia and David. In the past few years they have added three son-in-laws and three grandchildren. Doug works for WorldVenture as their NW Church Connections Director. WorldVenture is an international missions and humanitarian organization with work in over 65 regions of the world. At Grace, Doug serves on the elder team and the preaching team and enjoys a small group with a few other men in ministry. Doug came to Christ at a young age and attended Multnomah where he settled with God on who would direct his life. He went on to seminary in Dallas, TX and served as an associate pastor in Eugene, OR for eight years. After a very challenging four year assignment with WorldVenture in Congo, Africa, the Hazen family returned to the U.S. to Doug’s present position. In their spare time, Doug and Ruth enjoy family, home projects and anything outdoors.
