Joby & Arlys Bucher

Joby has been an elder since 2001 and chairman of the elder board for the past 2 years. Joby accepted Christ at an early age and recommitted his life to Christ in high school. He attended a Christian college where he met his wife Arlys. They have just celebrated their 45th anniversary. They are blessed with 3 sons, their wives and 7 grandchildren. Joby is a retired school administrator with most of his teaching and administrative years spent in the Damascus Union School District and ending his career with the Gresham-Barlow School District. Joby and Arlys have been a part of Grace since the beginning in l981, serving in a variety of ministry positions.
