Billy Cash
My wife and I are so excited to be connected with Grace. We moved to Portland from the great state of Texas in the summer of 2009. I was attending Western Seminary and we immediately got connected to Grace Community Church. In Texas I had been a Youth Pastor, but at Grace we were able to serve in the role of members instead of staff. It was a blessing. Grace was a friendly church that preached the Bible and challenged their people to grow. My wife and I commented on several occasions about how amazing it would be to serve on staff in a church like Grace because of their leadership and desire to impact the community with the gospel of Jesus. Little did we know that the Lord would fulfill that desire and keep us here in Portland after I graduated from Western. I’m now serving as the Worship, Young Adult, and College minister.
I’m married to my beautiful wife, Lindsay. We have a golden retriever named Maverick, and in a couple of months we’re expecting our first baby girl. In my spare time (as if that really exists) I love to do anything outdoors like hiking and skiing. Oregon has been a great fit in this regard and we live close to Mt. Hood for easy access to some great hiking. I’m still young enough that I think I can play basketball and ultimate frisbee. Both my wife and I are AVID Dallas Mavericks and Cowboys fans. I try and keep the entire church apprised of their progress…especially when their winning!
